On February 20, 2015, LUISS will host students from universities all over Italy for a special orientation day. A unique occasion to meet with high level professionals, top managers, recruiters, analysts and professors, to participate in an exclusive meeting on how to build your own career path.
The Becoming masterly event is an opportunity aimed at all students graduating from bachelor’s degree programs, to help them choose the master’s degree program that is best suited to them and to discuss their prospects within the world of work. A chance to speak directly with 20 professionals in different sectors, with meetings sorted by topic: students can choose who they would like to talk to based on their area of interest, to be specified when they register for the event.
The new LUISS master’s degree programs, designed as professional training courses to give students direction as they enter the world of work, will be presented throughout the day. There are new majors offered for the degree programs in Management and Marketing with a focus on innovation, digitalization and Big Data: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Digital Management, and Marketing Analytics & Metrics.
A lot of space will be dedicated to the new Double Degree programs. These are international exchange programs that allow students to earn two degrees, thanks to partnerships with prestigious universities all over the world, such as China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, Fudan School of Management in Shanghai, the School of Law at Fordham University in New York, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and Solvay Business School in Brussels. In addition, LUISS is the only Italian partner in the QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management) program, which gives excellent students the opportunity to study in three different countries.
The degrees and study abroad programs will be presented by LUISS faculty, who will be available to students to help them make decisions regarding their future and to respond to all of their questions. From 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Viale Romania 32 campus, students will be able to meet with the university’s best professors, attend lectures, have lunch and talk to LUISS students, before meeting directly with professionals from the world of work, starting at 2:30 p.m.
