Major in Economics

The Economics major brings students into the worlds economics and finance. Students with concentrate on a number of key subject areas, including global macro phenomena, markets, industries and public policies. Graduates will attain expertise in advanced economics while gaining a solid theoretical, quantitative and legal background necessary to thrive in professions where these skills are in greatest demand. Students will be prepared apply their knowledge in business, research or consulting or use their degree as a gateway to doctoral programs in prestigious international universities.

The ideal Economics Master’s student has an ability for critical thinking, a passion for searching answers to difficult questions, and an interest in data analysis, outstanding social insight, language and communication skills. This is in addition to the more standard academic abilities such as economic and business competencies as well as analytic and quantitative skills, necessary to effectively participate in an increasing complex and changeable society.
