Having graduated with honours in Political Science from Luiss University in 1982, Elisabetta Belloni boasts a diplomatic career that began in 1985 at the Political Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and continued with prestigious assignments both internationally and in Italy. From 2016 to 2021 she served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2021 she has been Director General of DIS, the first woman to hold this delicate position.
The awards ceremony was attended by the President of Luiss University, Luigi Gubitosi, the Rector, Paolo Boccardelli, and the President of Luiss Alumni Network (LAN), Daniele Pelli.
