Changing degree programs within Luiss Guido Carli for the a.y. 2025/2026 is possible, starting from the second year, by submitting a pre-application form from June, 3rd to July, 25th 2025. To submit the pre-application request, students must send the form that will be available on this webpage in the above-indicated timeframe and the ID document to the email address segreteria@luiss.it.

It will be possible to be admitted to the second year of the new degree program, proven that the prescribed minimum curricular requirements are met, if the following requirements are also met:

  • having obtained at least 32 credits in common area and recognisable in the new degree program;

  • for students enrolled in courses taught in a language different from English, it is possible to change to a Master’s Degree Program taught in English as long as they fulfill the already mentioned requirements and are also proficient in English B2 level by presenting a currently valid English language certificate issued by a certifying body no more than three years ago;

  • for non-Italian citizens it is possible to change to a Master’s Degree Program taught in Italian as long as they fulfill the already mentioned requirements and are also proficient in Italian B2 level by presenting a currently valid Italian language certificate issued by a certifying body no more than three years ago.

It should also be noted that, in the case of double enrollment in the same year of the course or enrollment as a repeating student, no bonus points will be awarded upon graduation.

The Board Council assesses admission and the year of enrollment on a case-by-case basis, based on the coherence criteria established by the Didactic's regulations.

When the exams are recognised, the number of credits assigned by the new degree program is attributed, regardless of those attributed by the original one. In case of the Board Council validates an exam with the request of an integration, the remaining part of the exam must be taken.

Once the complete pre-application form is received, students will be notified of the outcome and must confirm their acceptance or refusal of the proposal for recognition within 7 days of receipt of the notification.

Upon acceptance, they will receive the necessary instructions to complete the changing degree program by paying the amount foreseen for the course year to which they have been admitted.

By what date will I still be able to take exams?

You will be able to take exams until September, 6th 2025. In this case, the pre-application must be completed within the deadline, indicating the exams to be taken and the date.

When can I start attending classes?

You will only be able to start attending classes once your changing degree program has been completed.

When will I be able to start taking exams and/or integrations once the procedure has been completed?

The first session in which exams and/or integrations can be taken will be the Winter Session (starting from December).

I am a scholarship winner: how can I check if I will be able to keep it?

You will need to contact the Financial Aid Office to gather the necessary information.
