Foreign students may be admitted to one or more courses at Luiss Guido Carli according to slots allotted each academic year.
Students from outside the European Union, must respect regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR).
Luiss welcomes requests from all students, including holders of bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degrees who have a proven need to attend courses and pass exams in disciplines that are legally required to participate in public competitions or enroll in specialist graduate schools.
Courses can last one or two semesters. For the 2025-2026 academic year:
- 1st semester courses begin on September 8, 2025 and end on December 6, 2025;
- 2nd semester courses begin February 2, 2026 and end on May 9, 2026.
The registration request must be forwarded well in advance and no later than one week before the start of the Semester in which you will attend classes.
Attention: if you decide to register to a single course offered in the Ist year 2025/2026 a.y. consult the 2025/2026 academic calendar and the Luiss Graduate School educational model, so that you can learn how to carry out educational activities, rules for taking exams, as well as familiarize with the educational model that characterizes our University.
To apply, students must -well in advance of the beginning of the Semester- send via email to ammissione@luiss.it :
- an application form addressed to the Provost, detailing the student's study plan;
- passport copy
- a certificate attesting the educational qualification earned, including exam scores or grades received: Foreign students must submit an official Transcript of Records from their home University issued in English; only if the issuing of an official document in English language is not available, the certificate must be translated and certified by the appropriate diplomatic and consular authorities.
- two photographs in JPG format, one of which (for NON-EU students only) must be authenticated by the appropriate Italian diplomatic and consular authorities, indicating citizenship, residence, and the date and place of birth;
Upon reception of the request, the Office will make available to the student credentials for paying:
- a 16.00 Euro for the duty stamp;
- registration fee.
The fee for each individual course is 1.600,00 Euro and must be paid using a payment method indicated by the Student Office and the fee for the duty stamp for the registration request.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate attesting participation, as well as a certificate regarding official exam results. Attending a single course does not grant admission to a degree program.
