Amici della Luiss Association

Luiss University prides itself on its close ties to businesses, policymakers, international organizations and industry leaders who all play important roles in the lives of our student body, research faculty, and the university as a whole.

The Amici della Luiss Association was founded as a non-profit in 1982, but its mission of providing sponsorships of university activities and research funding goes back much further. It was Umberto Agnelli (FIAT Group) who, together with financial and public institutions, brought in the necessary funds to transform the original Pro Deo school and propel it into a model of modern education – an institution dedicated to the social and political sciences, managerial culture and innovative entrepreneurship.
