LUISS University has signed a new agreement with the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM)  at the University of Tilburg. The Double Degree program will allow four Management students to enhance their studies in supply chain management and obtain an MSc in Supply Chain Management, in addition to an Italian degree.

Logistics management requires very specific skills much in demand by multinationals operating in various markets and territories. In this way, in addition to the essential international management skills gained during the first year of their master’s degree program at LUISS, the selected students will have the opportunity to analyze in depth issues related to production, purchasing and distribution management in businesses operating in the manufacturing and services sectors.

The agreement, adding to the university's previous Erasmus collaboration, offers a new specialization to Management students and provides students with an additional way to study at the prestigious University of Tilburg, considered one of the leading universities in the business and economics field. Tilburg currently ranks eleventh in the world and third in Europe according to the Times Higher Education

"Through this agreement," declares Professor Alessandro Zattoni, coordinator of the master’s program in Management, "we offer students a chance to specialize in supply chain management, a topic of increasing importance for many sectors. This opportunity expands our offering of Double Degrees in Management at master’s level and complements current majors in International Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Luxury, Fashion and Made in Italy."

This program is open to students enrolled in the third year of their bachelor’s degree program (or recent graduates) intending to register for the master’s degree program in Management in the 2017-18 academic year. The selected candidates will attend the first year at LUISS and the second at Tilburg.
