On April 22, students in the Double Degree in Management (DDIM) program at LUISS Guido Carli and Fudan University visited Huawei’s Chinese research and development center. Huawei is the largest supplier of equipment for telecommunications systems on a worldwide scale and one of the main drivers of the Chinese economy.
Prof. Andrea Renda, a professor of Business Law in the DDIM program, accompanied the students to the campus located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, where the best engineers in the country design the communications devices of the future.
Huawei is one of the most advanced and innovative technology giants in the world. Each year it invests around 10% of its enormous turnover in research and development on smartphones, as well as devices for mobile broadband, multimedia and home offices. This experience is one of the amazing opportunities that make up the program in the Double Degree in Management.
This is the ninth year that the DDIM has been offered. The academic year begins in September and allows 15 students at LUISS to spend their first year of the master’s degree program in Management at the prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai, one of the capitals of global business.
