Programmi MUN LUISS 2018

MUN 2018, Model United Nations, is an educational path that faithfully reconstructs the structure of the United Nations committees and agencies in order to involve those who aspire to understand what working as a delegate entails and familiarize them with multilateral diplomatic dynamics. Negotiation, competition and cooperation are the basis of MUN world.

Model United Nations programs allow students to Experience working for the United Nations and become an ambassador at the world’s most important organization

The following programs are available in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MUN ROME (March 2018):

  • MUN ROME is the largest national simulation of the United Nations organized annually by Consules in partnership with the Institute for International Affairs (IAI). The simulation involves hundreds of university students from all over Italy, giving them the opportunity to deal with the daily working sessions of the United Nations. Formal and informal sessions, voting procedures, and negotiations. A stimulating way to give yourself a challenge and to improve personal skills for the future professional life.  

NMUN NY – New York (March 2018):

  • NMUN NY is the largest international simulation organized for university students from all over the world. Every year more than 5,000 students meet in New York to challenge each other in a unique arena. The project is managed by the National Collegiate Conference Association (NCCA) with the support of the United Nations Departement of Public Information (UNDPI). The final voting session and the closing ceremony take place within the UN Headquarters. 

WorldMUN Panama (Marcho 2018):

  • WorldMUN Panama is the itinerant simulation of the United Nations organized annually by Harvard in one of the most beautiful cities in the world in order to give participants the opportunity to live the MUN experience and discover new places. This year the simulation is held in Panama City. The WorldMUN edition sees the participation of over 2,000 university student from all over the world. In addition to the simulation experience and the working sessions the project involves training and socialization initiative. 

Registrations will be accoutned for on a weekly basis until all slots are filled.
