The LUISS Student Exchange Office and International Development Office have recently closed the application process for exchange programs for 2016-2017.
Over the next few months 545 students will spend a semester studying abroad thanks to 165 Bilateral and Erasmus+ exchange agreements between LUISS and various partner universities in 37 countries. The figure, which represents a 19% increase from last year, demonstrates the persistent effort of LUISS in providing its students with more opportunities to enrich their education with experiences beyond national borders.
The Department of Business and Management has recorded the most significant increase, with 242 outgoing students, resulting in a 30% growth since last year. An excellent result has been achieved for the Department of Law as well which, with 123 selected candidates, will see 18% more students than last year participate in an exchange.
Double Degrees and Structured Partnerships registered a 14% increase in the number of applications for a total of 261. A total of 22 Calls for Applications have been published, with 17 Double Degrees, with a 10% increase in available slots more than the previous year. Students in mobility will be around 130. Interest is growing among students from the Department of Business and Management, while applications from Department of Economics and Finance, Law and Political Science remain stable.
Furthermore, LUISS is going to host approximately 60 students in Double Degree and Structured Partnerships from many different partner institutions and from all over the world for the next academic year.
Our warmest thanks to our colleagues, the members of the academic commission and the academic coordinators of our programs. Best of luck to all students!
