On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 LUISS will shine red lights on the Viale Romania campus for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to remember the stories of the 6.78 million Italian women that have been abused and all other victims around the world.
In collaboration with the new womens’ section of the Associazione Laureati LUISS, the initiative is part of an ALL network project involving themes including gender equality, womens’ rights and the fight against violence.
By illuminating the University’s facade, LUISS generates awareness of a problem that one woman out of three in our society faces, a figure that reminds us that of the long road ahead of us towards women’s rights.
