In view of the upcoming referendums to be held on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 June 2025, Luiss University wishes to inform its student community about two important opportunities to actively participate in the democratic process.

Voting arrangements for out-of-town students

The Ministry of the Interior has introduced simplified procedures to enable students, temporarily living in a municipality other than that on whose electoral roll they are recorded, to exercise their right to vote.

All the information and procedures for submitting an application to that end are available on the website of the Ministry of the Interior.

Applications for the role of substitute president of a polling station

Luiss students who are interested in actively contributing to the electoral process and whose names are on the electoral roll of the City of Rome may apply for the position of substitute president of a polling station.

The application, accompanied by the required documentation, must be submitted to the Municipality of Rome, following the instructions on the Municipality of Rome website.
