Almost 300 participants in the Luiss team at the Race for the Cure
A great team for a great cause. Almost 300 participants joined the Luiss team for the 26th edition of the Race for the Cure, the world's largest event for the fight against breast cancer, which took place in Rome on Sunday 11 May.
Women of course, but not only. Numerous Luiss University students, staff and faculty, with the support of friends and family, painted the capital pink, joining the great race organised by Susan G. Komen Italia under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and with the endorsement of the Prime Minister’s Office.
A shared commitment to prevention
Among the more than 150,000 participants, the Luiss team managed to stand out, taking home an award as one of the event's most numerous teams in the education field.
A commitment to the prevention of breast cancer, which Luiss has renewed over time and which, thanks to the event, has given full support to the 56,000 women who every year in Italy carry on their battle.
