Department of Economics and Finance

The Department of Economics and Finance brings together specialized academic expertise in the fields of economics and finance, and in the study of quantitative methods applied to the economic, social, financial and corporate sciences.
The Department manages the English bachelor's degree program in Economics and Business, and the master's degree program in Economics and Finance (within which it is possible to pursue specific courses of study in both Italian and English).
Its research focuses on several issues related to the analysis of individual and collective behavior in the real, monetary, and financial economies.

The Department of Business and Management is distinguished by its close scientific and educational relationship with industry.
The Department is a place where the needs and interests of the University, businesses and institutions are brought together and synthesized.
Synergies are generated between these three worlds in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment that is geared towards internationalization. Using a modern educational approach, the Department addresses corporate issues with methodological rigor.
It is a center of excellence for the managerial disciplines, for accounting, for corporate finance, for economics and the management of financial intermediaries, as well as for industrial economics and policies.

The Department of Law is charged with the task of organizing the degree program for the single-cycle, five-year degree course in Law. It also promotes and coordinates scientific research, develops PhD programs and writes research grants in the legal field.
The Department is made up of tenured professors and adjunct researchers.

Department of Political Science

The Department of Political Science takes an interdisciplinary approach, both in the areas of education and research.
The Department's methodology is scientifically rigorous while remaining strongly career-oriented, thanks to the contributions of nationally and internationally esteemed professors. 
The post-graduate programs include first-level and second-level master's degree programs, PhD programs, and schools such as the School of Government and the Massimo Baldini School of Journalism.
The Department has always been dedicated to sociological, historical, methodological, legal, economic, and philosophical research. It is also committed to research in political science and communication, which means it offers an ever more comprehensive understanding of the socio-political phenomena of our time.

Luiss Business School

Luiss School of Law (LSL) represents an innovation in the field of legal studies in Italy. LSL was conceived within the framework of the international strategic objectives being pursued by Luiss Guido Carli. It is targeted to whoever intends to acquire or further develop outstanding legal training or to deepen the scientific research in the various branches of Law with an international focus.

Massimo Baldini School of Journalism

The Massimo Baldini School of Journalism, associated with the Department of Political Science, offers its students specialized training in the area of IT systems and new forms of multimedia communication along with solid theoretical knowledge and daily technical and practical exercises. The objective is to prepare students for a job market that is ever more selective and competitive, with an international outlook focused on the legal, economic and socio-political sectors. The school emphasizes the importance of new technologies, while also giving students a solid foundation in the basics of the profession: press, radio and television. The limited number allows students to register for the journalistic apprenticeship, in accordance with current legislation and agreements with the National Council of Journalists.
