Welcome to Luiss University, where academic excellence meets the vibrant spirit of Rome. Join our international community, learn from renowned faculty, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
The Student Mobility Office is your main point of contact during your exchange journey at Luiss. We support incoming exchange students — whether through Erasmus+ or a bilateral agreement — at every stage of their mobility: from the application process to your arrival in Rome and throughout your stay.
In the menu on your left, you will find everything you need to prepare for your time at Luiss, including how to apply, academic calendars, course selection, housing options, and arrival guidelines. Our team is here to ensure your academic and personal experience at Luiss is smooth, enriching, and fully supported.
For incoming students interested in attending Luiss as Free Movers (visiting/fee-paying students) outside of an exchange programme, the application and enrolment process is managed by the Admission Office. You can find detailed information and submit your application for individual courses through their official page.
The Student Mobility Office handles the negotiation and formalisation of Erasmus+ and bilateral agreements for credit mobility (see the full list of partners here). Each year, Luiss signs a limited number of new agreements with carefully selected universities, chosen based on strict quality criteria such as the compatibility of academic programmes, university rankings, and student services offered.
All our work is grounded in the principles of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which ensures transparency, fairness, and quality in recognising and transferring academic credits earned abroad. This system supports the full integration of international study experiences within the Luiss degree framework, guaranteeing that learning outcomes and workload are consistently evaluated.
Our office actively promotes international mobility as a core value of the Luiss academic experience and works closely with partner institutions to ensure high-quality, reciprocal exchanges.
