The Master's Degree in Strategic Management, Innovation & Sustainability is designed to develop leaders capable of managing innovative and sustainable strategies in increasingly complex markets and ecosystems, the Master's in Strategic Management, Innovation & Sustainability is a unique learning experience that prepares students to address the key challenges for the success of organisations globally. 

Through constant interaction with public, private and social actors, the curriculum provides a multidimensional view of the economic and social dynamics that influence global markets. A distinctive element of the programme is the combination of managerial, legal and technical knowledge based on the 'hard' and 'soft' social sciences.

 Study programme and curriculum

The Master’s Degree in Strategic Management Innovation & Sustainability offers a well-structured and innovative programme, which is characterised by three majors:

  • Strategic Management & Consulting 
  • Sustainability & Circular Economy 
  • Technology Strategy

Students start with a solid theoretical and practical training in strategic management and then specialise in one of the chosen majors, each of which includes a series of targeted courses and in-depth practical training to develop specific skills and in-depth knowledge.

The Master’s Degree in Strategic Management prepares students for work in multinational companies, consulting firms, start-ups and non-profit organisations.  

Graduates can apply for the following positions:

  • Strategic Manager, with the aim of planning and implementing strategic initiatives in various sectors. 
  • Innovation managers, within companies or consultancies, to promote change and sustainable and innovative practices. 
  • Sustainability officer, with the aim of ensuring that companies comply with environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. 
  • Entrepreneurial roles in start-ups or innovation-focused entities, leveraging knowledge of strategic and sustainable innovation. 
  • Policy analyst or advisor roles in governmental organisations or NGOs to help shape and influence sustainability and inclusion policies.
  • Higher academic qualifications (PhD or postgraduate diploma in strategic management, corporate sustainability, innovation management). 

The Master’s Degree in Strategic Management programme trains leaders in today's complex business world by promoting innovative, strategic and sustainable business practices.

Tuition fees, scholarships and benefits 

The single annual fee envisaged for enrolment in the Master’s Degree in Strategic Management, Innovation & Sustainability is €13,600.00 (divided into 3 instalments*) and regional tax. 

 Luiss offers scholarships and partial or total exemptions from university fees, also thanks to the support of public and private partners. Both male and female students have access to concrete support during their academic career. In addition, the University has entered into agreements with Italian banking institutions to offer flexible financing without collateral.
