On January 21 and 22, 2016, a LUISS delegation including professors Luigi Marengo and Pietro Reichlin, and the International Development Office, traveled to Moscow to meet with universities and Italian companies.
This mission follows the closing of agreements with the Higher School of Economics, MGIMO and ENEL signed by the rector in June 2015.
In particular, Professors Luigi Marengo and Pietro Reichlin laid the foundations for Double Degree programs respectively in International Business and in Financial Economics.
Furthermore, LUISS met with representatives of Pirelli, UniCredit, Salini Impregilo, Banca Intesa and Prysmian Group to combine the Russian academic experience with professional development.
The LUISS delegation was also met by Italian diplomatic representatives. In addition to supporting supporting the University’s initiatives in Russia, the Italian Embassy offers internships to LUISS students enrolled in the Double Degree in International Relations with MGIMO, the Moscow university linked to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit was also an opportunity to meet LUISS students currently attending courses at MGIMO and to renew the cooperation with this outstanding university.
