On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., the Viale Pola Sala delle Colonne hosts a talk with author Maurizio de Giovanni.

 

The talk, entitled Io, se non vedo un movente, non mi convinco, hosted by Vice Rector Paola Severino and Professor of Criminal Law Elisa Scaroina, is a conversation between literature and law focused on homicide motives.

Maurizio de Giovanni is the author of the Commissario Ricciardi and Bastardi di Pizzofalcone series, set in contemporary Naples. He has published with Fandango, Einaudi, Mondadori, and Rizzoli. All his publications have been or are currently being translated in France, Germany, England, Spain, Russia, Denmark and the United States. De Giovanni also writes theater pieces as well as stories about his hometown soccer team, Napoli.

The event, held in Italian, is open to the public.
