Rosanna Accettura, LUISS graduate in International Relations won the Helen Joanne "Jo" Cox Award for European Studies for her thesis on International Economics.
The award is granted by Associazione iMille for European Studies in honor of Helen Joanne “Jo” Cox, the young MP who was murdered before the Brexit vote. The prize commemorates Cox's work to keep Great Britain in the European Union and honors theses dedicated to the economic, political and social benefits of European integration.
The prize will be awarded in Rome on February 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the Nuova Aula dei Gruppi of the House of Parliament, Via di Campo Marzio 78. Rosanna Accettura, selected from among 190 candidates from around Italy, will receive the prize before members of parliament, academics, policymakers and young people from all over the country. The event also features a debate on the future of Europe, the role of Italy in Europe and the relationship between young Italians and Europe.
