Luiss 15th in UI GreenMetric rankings

Luiss is making strides in sustainability as evidenced by its rise in the 2023 UI GreenMetric ranking. The University now ranks 15th globally, a significant improvement from its previous position of 19th in 2022. 

Among Italian universities, it is in second place.

This achievement is part of Luiss' ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, with a trajectory that has seen it steadily climb the rankings since its debut in 2018 at 229th place. 

The overall score now stands at a total of 9.175 points. In the Setting & Infrastructure category, the University scored 1.125 points; in Energy and Climate Change, it earned 1.975 points. Waste management efforts contributed significantly to Luiss' success, as evidenced by the 1.575 points in the "Waste" category. 1.000 points came from the "Water" category and 1.700 from "Transportation". Finally, in the "Education and Research" category, the University scored 1.800 points.
