Established in 2024, the Center is dedicated to the themes of learning and the role of new technologies in this field, addressing the need for a reference structure on these particularly relevant topics both for the university itself and for a multitude of external stakeholders (organizations operating in the EdTech context, private organizations and their internal academies, public institutions interested in continuous education).
Based on these premises, the Research Center aims to investigate how new technologies can improve various learning experiences, both from the perspective of the various professional figures involved in education and the learners themselves. The focus is therefore on how new technologies can enhance learning outcomes and the overall experience of learners, but also on how educators can reconsider their roles and activities in light of the new technologies available in the field of education.
Keeping in mind the idea of technology as a tool to empower individuals rather than replace them, the Research Center aims to contribute to the creation and enhancement of new, rigorous, and relevant knowledge in partnership with organizations interested in "technology-enhanced" education (generative AI, metaverse, VR).
