Mario Arcelli Degree Prize – 2024 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in conjunction with the Mario Arcelli Foundation and the CASMEF - Arcelli Center for Monetary and Financial Studies and thanks to the contribution of Intesa Sanpaolo, is honored to promote a competition for the awarding of a degree prizes, for a total amount of € 2,500 in memory of Mario Arcelli, Magnificent Rector of our University from 1992 to 2002. The competition is open to graduates of master’s degree programs at Luiss Guido Carli who have completed their studies on track in the graduation sessions scheduled from 1 June 2023 to 31 July 2024, defending a thesis on a topic related to Monetary Economics and Credit and attaining a grade of not less than 105/110.
To participate, candidates must submit their applications by 12:00 PM on August 30, 2024.
"Francesco Mansutti” Degree Prize - 2024 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in collaboration with the Mansutti family, announce a competition for the awarding of two graduation prizes, totaling €4,000. The winners of these scholarships must have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 105 or 110 between July 1, 2022, and July 31, 2023, while enrolled at Luiss Guido Carli.
The Mansutti family has provided funding for the graduation awards in Francesco's memory, a bright Luiss graduate in Business Administration, Finance, and Control. The awards are intended to advance agricultural research, an area to which Francesco devoted himself wholeheartedly.
To participate, candidates must submit their applications by 12:00 PM on September 20, 2024.
“EY Foundation - Third Sector Philantropic Organization” Degree Prize in memory of Fabrizio Pascale – 2024 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in conjunction with EY Foundation - Third Sector Philantropic Organization and the family of Fabrizio Pascale, a brilliant Luiss alumnus and partner of the EY network, who passed away prematurely, announces a competition for the award of two degree prizes in his memory, for a total amount of € 4,500 (four thousand five hundred euros). The prizes are reserved for a graduate of a bachelor’s degree program and a graduate of a master’s degree program at Luiss Guido Carli, who defend a thesis on topics and issues related to Fabrizio Pascale’s area of specialization, in other words, “Telco, Media and Technology”.
The competition is open to all candidates who have completed their studies on track in the graduation sessions scheduled from 1 June 2023 to 30 April 2024, obtaining their degree with a grade of not less than 105/110.
Applications to participate in this competition must be sent no later than noon on 20 May 2024. (extended deadline)
Euler Hermes Degree Prize in Memory of Roberta Buzzi – 2024 Edition
Thanks to funding from Euler Hermes Italia and in association with the Buzzi family, Luiss Guido Carli announces a competition, in memory of Roberta Buzzi, Head of Risk Controlling Mediterranean Countries, Africa and Middle East, for the awarding of a degree prize of € 2,000 for the best thesis on risk controlling & management, insurance and reinsurance, trade credit and forms of security, and credit risk.
The competition is open to graduates of master's and single-cycle master's degree programs at Luiss Guido Carli who will defend their thesis in the year 2024, obtaining their degree on track (in corso), with a grade of not less than 105/110.
Applications to participate in this competition must be submitted by and no later than noon on 29 November 2024 using the form available online.
“Carlo Federico Benedizione" Degree Prize – 2023 Edition
Luiss Guido Carli, in conjunction with the family of Carlo Federico Benedizione, announces a competition for the awarding of two degree prizes, for a total amount of € 1,500. The competition is open to graduates of bachelor’s degree and master’s degree or single-cycle master’s degree programs at Luiss Guido Carli who have completed their studies on track in the 2023 calendar year defending a thesis on a topic related to sport in the economic, legal or socio-political fields and attaining a grade of not less than 105/110. The degree prizes are funded by the Benedizione family with the aim of honoring the memory of Carlo Federico, a brilliant Luiss graduate in Law, a great fan of sport and a committed believer in the values of courage, dedication and respect that sport entails.
Applications to participate in this competition must be sent by no later than noon on 19 January 2024.
"David Sassoli” Degree Prize - 2023 Edition
One year after the passing of David Sassoli, Luiss Guido Carli University joins the CRUL project "The President of the European Parliament David Sassoli: the unity of Europe, the dignity of the individual." To honor his memory, the university announces a competition for master's graduates in Policies and Governance in Europe and International Relations. Two degree prizes of €1,000 each will be granted to the best theses that delve into the intellectual, professional, and political biography of David Sassoli, focusing on European topics during the period from 2009 to 2022, when Sassoli served as a Member of the European Parliament and President of the European Parliament. These theses must be defended during the academic year 2023/2024 with a grade not lower than 105/110.
The application form will be available starting from 01/07/2024.
