To pick up the Original Diploma it is necessary go to the Student Office located in Via Parenzo, 11.
Opening hours and days:
- From Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Original Diplomas
Please note that, starting in Summer 2013-2014 (July 2014), graduates of master’s degree, single-cycle master’s degree and bachelor’s degree programs who are unable to attend the Graduation Day ceremony will receive their original diplomas at the mailing address that was provided on the degree exam request form.
All those who graduated by the 2012-2013 extraordinary session (March-April 2014) may pick up their original diplomas directly from the Student Office or request that they be sent by mail.

Picking up original diplomas at the Front Office
To pick up an official degree parchment you will need to go in person to the office on Via Parenzo, 11 with the appropriate form and two €16.00 duty stamps. Students can pick up their original secondary school diploma along with their university diploma without having to fill out any other forms or provide additional duty stamps.
Students who are unable to go in person to the Student Office can designate another person to pick up their original diploma. The person delegated will have to bring a form of ID, the signed proxy form on plain paper and a photocopy of the ID of the person whose diploma is being picked up.
Sending by mail
Students can request that their original diploma be sent to their address by sending to: Luiss Guido Carli – Student Office - Via Parenzo, 11 - 00198 Rome:
- a form with two €16.00 duty stamps requesting the original diploma
- a copy of identification (front and back)
- the correct number of duty stamps (two)
The diploma will be sent by certified mail with return receipt. The applicant, however, releases the University of any responsibility for its loss.
