Registering within the prescribed timeframe for the 2024-2025 academic year
To register for the second, third, fourth and fifth year of five-year, single cycle master’s degree programs, the first installment of the tuition fees and the full amount of the regional student tax must be paid by the July 19, 2024 deadline, from the Web Self Service (Registration > Payments > Payments to be made > Payment slip number). You can pay online by clicking on the “PagoPA Payment” button at the bottom of the page.
Payments must be made by the deadlines indicated in the web page (see Tuition fee amounts and deadlines). For late payments, a charge of €50 per installment per month or part thereof will apply, starting on the eighth day after the payment deadline.
After the first month, the effective date for the calculation of late payment fees will be the payment deadline.
In addition, students in their second or subsequent years within the prescribed timeframe who have not met the deadline for the payment of the first installment will be liable for the €50 late payment charge as well as a penalty of €300, starting on July 27, 2024.
Payment orders for late payment fees and penalties will be available on the Web Self Service after the late payment has been made. You can pay online by clicking on the “PagoPa Payment” button at the bottom of the page.

You can pay online by clicking on the “PagoPa Payment” button at the bottom of the page.

After the first month, the effective date for the calculation of late payment fees will be the payment deadline.

Registering as a repeating student for the 2024-2025 academic year
Students outside the prescribed timeframe who wish to modify their study plans must register as repeating students by July 19, 2024. Tuition fees are the same as for the year when the student intends to re-register. Only after having submitted a formal request to register as a repeating student, can the student print the related payment slips from the Web Self Service.
IMPORTANT for enrollment in the second year 2025/2026
Freshers enrolled for the 2024/2025 academic year will be able to enroll for their second year in the 2025/2026 academic year only if they have earned and been officially awarded 24 university education credits (CFU) by September 2025. Students who have not earned at least 24 university education credits by the end of the fall session (September 2025) will be enrolled as first-year repeat students.
The same requirement of obtaining and registering at least 24 cfu by the Autumn session of exams will also apply for the enrolment to the III and IV years.
What does enrolling as a first-year repeat student entail?
Repeat students are required to pay the single tuition fee applicable to first year students for the 2025/2026 academic year, as per the amount decided for that year. In addition, in terms of university progression, students are required to retake the courses scheduled for the first year as per the then current academic offering, with a consequent extension of the time required to complete the degree program. In addition, those enrolled as repeat students will not be eligible for bonus points (if any) awardable on graduation to students who complete their studies on track within the standard duration of the degree program.
Unauthorized interruption of studies
A student who does not pay tuition fees and taxes for at least one academic year and wishes to recommence their studies after a period of inactivity must submit a resumption of studies application on plain paper to the Student Office.
The application must be accompanied by payment of the entire amount of the tuition fees and associated late payment charges for every year that the student was not registered as well as for the current academic year.
During the period of interruption the student must not do anything that would further their studies. The years of interruption are taken into account for the continuance of university studies and in calculating deadlines for lapse purposes.
