A transfer to another Italian university requires an application to the Provost on a specific form for this purpose. This application must be delivered to the Student Office.
Deadlines
Earliest date for submission of application: July 8, 2024
Latest date for submission of application: December 31, 2024
- students within the prescribed timeframe for the 2023-2024 academic year who seek a transfer to another Italian university from July 8 to September 30, 2024 do not have to pay tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- students within the prescribed timeframe for the 2023-2024 academic year who seek a transfer to another Italian university from October 1 to October 31, 2024 must pay a total of €500 in addition to the entire regional student tax.
- students within the prescribed timeframe for the 2023-2024 academic year who seek a transfer to another Italian university from November 1 to November 30, 2024 must pay the first installment of the tuition fee for a.y. 2024/2025 in addition to the entire regional student tax.
- students within the prescribed timeframe for the 2023-2024 academic year who seek a transfer to another Italian university from December 1 to December 31, 2024 must pay the first and second installment of the tuition fee for a.y. 2024/2025 in addition to the entire regional student tax.
Students enrolled in the fifth year or out of the prescribed timeframe for the 2023-2024 academic year, who wish to transfer to another Italian university from July 8 to December 31, 2024 do not have to pay the tuition fees for 2024-2025 academic year.
Documents to submit
- Application to the Provost on a specific form (also available at the Student Office)
- Copy of the identification document (front and back)
- Receipt for the €150 payment order, which can be picked up from the Student Office or printed directly by the Web Self Service
- Academic record booklet (booklet containing all of their official exam grades, or libretto universitario in Italian)
- ID badge
- A €16.00 duty stamp
Students who transfer to another Italian university or higher institute may not return to the original university or institute until one full calendar year after the date of issue of the withdrawal papers.
Students who are not up-to-date on the payment of tuition fees and taxes cannot apply for a transfer.
After submitting an application for a transfer, the student concerned cannot take any official exams or obtain certificates regarding their university studies.
The student is responsible for gathering all information about the curricular requirements, procedures, and timetable for transferring to another Italian university. The Student Office at Luiss Guido Carli, after receiving the transfer request, is only responsible for sending the documentation to the selected university.
