A Three Penny Opera in the Time of Coronavirus was born out of the preparations we had been working on for our theatrical arts course of the release of our own Three Penny Opera by Bertolt Brecht.
With the advent of this global pandemic, we weren’t able to perform as planned. So, together with our troupe of students, we decided to transform our play into a multimedia experiment. Set in the maze of London’s grotesque underworld, we find dwelling there a spurious cast of mysterious, deranged and wayward characters.
