Career Guidance

The Career Service offers students and graduates valuable support in defining their career paths and provides them with the necessary tools to enter and navigate the job market effectively.

The support offered is divided into the following components:

• One-to-one meetings
• Career Workshops
• Tools for job search and effective applications

One-to-one meetings

These are individualized meetings with the Career Service team, allowing you to create an action plane aligned with your career goals. These meetings also help to identify and enhance your skills and knowledge.

The meetings are designed to cover the following items:

• Reviewing your CV and Cover Letter: Check & Review | CV/Cover Letter;
• Providing tips on how to best approach a job interview: Tips & Advice | Training Interview;
• Offering insight into different career paths within specific sectors: Career Guidance (Business, Legal, IOs and PA).

You can book an appointment, either online or in-person, through the Appointments section on the Career Center platform.

In-person reception | days and times

• Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00-11.30 AM and 3.00-4.30 PM - Via Salvini 2, Career Service Office
• Wednesdays from 11.00 AM - 12.30 PM – Via Parenzo Campus, Luiss Open Lounge.

Career Workshop

Career Workshops are informative training sessions delivered by HR experts and professionals from relevant industries. Participating in these Career Workshops provides students with valuable insights into the characteristics employers value most and a better understanding of the various market sectors and selection processes.

During these workshops, students can participate in the following:

• CV Clinic: To craft a compelling CV that effectively showcases their experiences and emphasizes their strengths;
• Get Ready for a Job Interview: To receive practical tips on how to excel in job interviews and present themselves confidently;
• Get Ready for Programs & Careers: To learn more about requirements, the selection process, career paths, special programs, and deadlines that should not be missed (i.e., Spring Weeks and Summer Internshipsfor Investment Banking Schuman and Blue Book for European Institutions).

When it comes to entering the world of work, having a well-crafted CV can be the key difference between being rejected and moving forward in the selection process.

In the My Career section, you can browse and download templates for creating an HR-approved CV as well as useful documents that provide insights into various market sectors and selection processes.
