The Final of the Start Cup Lazio has concluded for this 9th edition. Entitled “Valorizzazione imprenditoriale delle ricerca scientifica e impatto sociale”, the most important regional Business Plan Competition supports and rewards the best innovative startup projects from universities and research institutions in Lazio.
The aim of the competition is to focus on innovative startups, to enhance youth talent, and to make the national territory a protagonist of entrepreneurial culture. Coordinated by the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and promoted by a collaborative network that includes Luiss, the competition demonstrated how the synergy between the world of research, education, and institutions positively affects the growth and welfare of the territory.
With 54 innovative business ideas and the involvement of 170 researchers and university students, the AgriSky project (LUISS Guido Carli - Università degli Studi Roma Tre) placed among the 28 finalists and won the "LVenture Group" award. Conferred by Pietro Nobili (LVenture Group), the premium guarantees a direct 1to1 with the LVG acceleration team and program managers to support the startup's growth.
Through encouraging innovative agriculture, Agryskt specializes in the sale and development of sustainability projects aimed at reducing CO2 emissions into the environment and optimizing the use of water resources. By developing a B2B platform, the AgrySky project bridges the market gap present in the sector and enables companies and public administrations to find solutions to improve their environmental footprint.
