Top 2% Scientists

The latest edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking has been published, once again recognizing Luiss researchers among the leading experts in their fields.



The Top 2% Most Influential Scientists 2024 is an international ranking created by Stanford University in California in collaboration with Elsevier, using bibliometric data extracted from Scopus, one of the largest and most up-to-date citation databases in the world.



Ranked across 22 scientific fields and 174 subcategories, several Luiss faculty members have achieved outstanding results among approximately 9 million researchers in the bibliometric area. In the category reflecting researchers' scientific achievements from the beginning of their careers up to the end of 2023, Chesbrough, Kallinikos, Thatcher, and McCarthy are included. In the category based on scientific results achieved solely in 2023, Chesbrough, Kallinikos, McCarthy, Zattoni, Romani, Viñuales, Forlenza, and Berti Suman are recognized.



The confirmation of the Luiss faculty's excellent positioning is a significant acknowledgment that underscores the University's ongoing commitment to promoting international research that generates meaningful social impact and contributes to the advancement of knowledge across various fields.
