Luiss joins the Blue Italian Growth National Technology Cluster (CTN BIG), a non-profit association open to the participation of all national actors interested in BlueGrowth issues, i.e. the long-term strategy to promote sustainable growth in marine and maritime environment, through the dissemination of knowledge and the coordination of private and public interventions on these issues.
The thematic areas of the Association are as follows: marine environment and coastline, marine biotic and abiotic resources, shipbuilding and marine robotics, marine renewable energy, blue biotechnology, integrated research infrastructures, sustainability and economic uses of the sea, Skills & Job.
CTN BIG is scientifically represented by a large group of Universities and by all Public Research Institutions dealing in various ways with the protection of the marine environment, while - at industrial level - it involves many leading players (national and international) as well as SMEs and territorial aggregations.
The Luiss Faculty will provide its expertise on these issues in order to contribute to the pursuit of the Association's objectives, through the exchange of knowledge and its network.
