General Rules
Visiting professors at Luiss are required to spend a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks at our University. Given the desire to establish a more fruitful and lasting cooperation, longer visiting periods of up to 12 weeks are encouraged. Visiting Professors are invited to conduct research with the Luiss faculty and are also strongly encouraged to be available to provide some teaching and to give seminars (up to a maximum of 20 teaching hours – see below).

In addition to general information, applicants are kindly requested to upload their CV, provide a short description of the proposed Research activity to be carried out during the visiting period, and indicate a Host Faculty Member at Luiss University. It will also be possible to select the Academic Area for the Intended Teaching Activity on the Application Form.
Luiss University will provide a lump sum compensation to cover travel and living expenses for the duration of the Visiting period. This payment will also cover a moderate teaching involvement in Luiss classes (up to a maximum of 20 teaching hours). The proposed gross compensation normally ranges from a minimum of €3,000 to a maximum of €6,000 per month.

Spring Term: January 12, 2026 – May 16, 2026

Protection of Personal Data
Luiss University, as Controller, collects and processes the information data of subjects in full compliance with the general principles and rules laid down by the law governing the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree No. 196/03, as subsequently amended, and Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679).
