International Students Scholarship for the 2023/2024 Academic Year

Welcoming international students is one of our most important values, which is why Luiss University is making fifty-one scholarships available for the 2023/2024 academic year, giving priority to:
- students from the Euro-Mediterranean area, particularly the Balkans;
- students from East Asia, such as China and Vietnam;
- students from the Middle East and North Africa;
- students with Italian roots who do not hold an Italian passport;
- students selected pursuant to international agreements or programs (IEC, Diasporas, etc.).
Students with Italian roots, even if they do not hold an Italian passport, have to submit an application form to be considered for an international scholarship reserved to this category by clicking on the following link.
It is highly recommended to support the application with a certificate released by an Italian Association abroad confirming the Italian roots of the candidate.
Applications must be sent no later than the 31st of May 2023.
Scholarships for Students Admitted with IB, SAT, ACT, GMAT and GRE scores
IB Honors Scholarship
Students with excellent applications who have received an IB Diploma in the 2023-2023 academic year, may be offered a total or partial tuition scholarship. There is no need to apply for the scholarship, all applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship.
In order to make sure to be considered for the scholarship, students are invited to check with their counselors that IB scores will be sent to Luiss electronically through MyIB.
SAT/ACT Scholarship
As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering four scholarships earmarked for students with SAT or ACT certification who have submitted an application for direct admission to the first year of a bachelor’s degree or single-cycle master’s degree program in the 2023/2024 academic year.
The scholarships consist of a 50% partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee and can be renewed for the entire standard duration of the degree program.
GMAT/GRE Scholarship
As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering eight scholarships to students who have submitted an application for direct admission for the first year of a master's degree program in the 2023-2024 academic with a currently valid GMAT or GRE certificate.
The eight scholarships, consisting of a full waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee, will be awarded with priority to students who submit GMAT certification with a score equal to or greater than 710 or equivalent GRE score converted on the basis of the annexed table.
If the number of winners with a score equal to or greater than 710 is less than the number of planned scholarships, applications from students with a GMAT/GRE score lower than 710 will be considered until funds are exhausted. The scholarships thereby awarded, again in descending order of score, will consist of a partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee worth € 6,500. In the case of a tie, preference will be accorded to applications in the order in which they were submitted.

Additional Scholarship Opportunities
Notice of competition for the awarding of scholarships reserved for non-Italian citizens participating in the international selection process for admission, in the 2023/2024 academic year, to the master's degree program in Law, Digital Innovation and Sustainability
In order to offers concrete opportunities for highly specialized international education to foreign students, thanks to the support of leading companies in their fields of expertise, Luiss University is offering the following scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year to future students in the Law, Digital Innovation and Sustainability master's degree program:
• a full waiver of the annual tuition fee, for students from the Middle East or Far East, funded by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.;
• a full waiver of the annual tuition fee, for students from Eastern Europe, funded by T.EN Italy Solutions S.p.A.;
• a full waiver of the annual tuition fee, for students from the Mediterranean Basin, funded by EY S.p.A.;
•a full waiver of the annual tuition fee as well as free room and board provided at the University's halls of residence, for students f from conflict or natural disaster zones or areas in the Far East or Global South, funded by Cilia Italia S.r.l.
Scholarships for the RoME Masters in Economics
The program is designed for highly motivated and talented students who seek out programs that are competitive on the European level. Thanks to a collaboration with the EIEF Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, Luiss offers 15 scholarships each year to students who have been admitted to the RoMe Masters in Economics.The scholarships offer full tuition coverage for the two years of study. For particularly brilliant candidates, the committee may award additional funds to cover living costs for a total of €10,000. All students are automatically considered for the scholarships.
Part-time positions
Luiss students also have the opportunity to work part-time in the University’s offices. Students may work up to 200 hours in an academic year. The call for applications is published every summer, and is open to all Luiss students with the exception of students in their first year of a bachelor’s program or the single-cycle Law program.
Tuition exemptions for students who meet DiSCo Lazio requirements for regional scholarships
Luiss students can apply for funding from DiSCo Lazio for scholarships, housing, contributions for experiences abroad and degree awards. All students who meet Disco Lazio requirements for scholarships will be granted a tuition exemption from Luiss.
