Barbara De Donno is Full Professor of Private Comparative Law at Luiss University since 2006. She is Member of the Board of the Luiss School of Law as LL.M. Programmes Coordinator and part of the Board of Editors of the International Business Law Review. She is co-leader of the Research project Human-Centred Business Model coordinated by OECD and World Bank

Foundation Programme on Social Sciences
The Foundation Programme is a 2-semesters study program on Social Sciences which allows students with less than 12 years of schooling to fulfill the prerequisites for pursuing a bachelor’s program in Italy and thus in Luiss. The programme offers introductory programmes in economics, law, socio-political studies, and, generally speaking, social sciences and critical thinking. Students will also attend some classes aimed at improving the English language and learning the basics of Italian, together with soft skills labs. The Foundation Programme is delivered on campus and/or with online synchronous classes and is characterized by continuous assessment.

Notes on the Programme
In order to complete the Foundation Programme (and receive the final certificate), students need to be awarded a secondary school leaving qualification obtained after at least 11 years of school and proficiency knowledge in English (at least equal to or higher than B2 level).
The achievement of the Foundation Programme issued by Luiss will entitle the student to be admitted to the first cycle of Luiss Degree Programs (Undergraduate Programs and Single-Cycle Degree Programs), upon successfully passing one of Luiss admission selection’s procedures for the academic year 2025/2026.
