Content

The program exposes participants to dilemmas related to management also considering socio-political issues. In todays volatile and fast-moving world global managers must be aware of both the intricacies of management practices and global politics. The program thus to offers an interdisciplinary and international training allowing participants broaden their knowledge of issues and skills required by companies and institutions operating on a global scale. The aim is to prepare participants to respond to economic and institutional changes by the adoption of holistic, inter- and trans-disciplinary approaches to management and politics.

Program Insights

The course focuses on global human resource management, including topics on culture, compensation and benefits, international organizations and their structures, international assignment management and the legal and regulatory considerations that global organizations face.

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

  • understand factors shaping organizational life, advantages and disadvantages of organizational designs
  • analyze managerial strategies for the successful management of people in organizations
  • develop analytical, problem solving, and social interaction abilities within the field of organizational design and HRM
  • manage the strategic issues related to organization design in contemporary organizations
  • apply strategies that help organizations to navigate and succeed in complex, dynamic and challenging environments
  • evaluate the impact of an alternative strategy in a objective and subjective way
