Structured Exchange with UC Louvain in Economics and Business
Highlights
Selected students spend the third year of the Bachelor’s program at the Economics School of Louvain, Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium).
Students selected for this program will be registered at Luiss during their time at Louvain and will continue to pay tuition fees at Luiss. Students are exempt from paying tuition at Louvain.

Who can apply
Students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor’s program in Economics and Business, interested in enrolling in the Economics track at Luiss, can apply to this program.
Available slots
Every year 2 students can take part in the program.
Requirements
The candidate for this program should have the following requirements:
- Weighted average grade: equal to or above 26,5/30
- At least 64 credits the end of the current Winter Exam Session and at least 112 by the end of the Summer Exam Session
- English language: no certificate required
Selection Criteria
The Academic Commission, nominated by the Dean of the Department of Economics and Finance, will select students based on a non-disputable evaluation of the academic profile and the motivation of the student.
The academic score will take under consideration all registered credits valid towards one’s degree (including internships, language courses, seminars, soft skills, summer schools, anticipated courses, etc.). Credits must be registered before the end of the winter exam session. Please note that additional courses (corsi liberi) will not be taken into consideration.
Applicants will receive selection results via email.

Additional rules
- Students participating in this program will not be able to graduate at Luiss in July 2025 but will be able to do so in October/November 2025, provided that they pass all required exams.
- Participation in this program will provide additional points to the Final Grade of the Bachelor’s Degree, according to Luiss rules.
- Students will be able to participate only if they are up to date with their exams and have no pending administrative issues with Luiss.
- Students are also allowed to apply for the International Student Exchange program. If they confirm their participation in the structured partnership, they will be automatically excluded from the selection for the exchange program and will be removed from the list of candidates.
- Exams passed at Louvain will be transferred to the Luiss career according to the study plan. While at Louvain, it is not possible to refuse exam grades.
