Doppia Laurea in Scienze Politiche con la Pontificia Università Lateranense
Program Highlights
The Double Degree program in Scienze Politiche and Scienze della Pace, jointly offered by Luiss and the Pontificia Unviersità Laterananse, focuses on global political studies and the promotion of peace. Graduates are well-prepared to pursue careers in diplomacy, international organizations, and ecclesiastical and civil institutions that work for peace and social justice.
Program Structure
- the first year is carried out at Luiss (Rome, italy);
- the second year is carried out at Luiss (Rome, Italy);
- the third year is carried out at Pontificia Università Lateranense (Roma).
If compliant with both universities’ rules and conditions, participating students will receive two degrees, one from Pontificia Università Lateranense and one from Luiss University.
Program Fees
During your mobility year at Pontificia Università Lateranense, you will remain enrolled at Luiss and continue your payments to the university; therefore, outgoing students are exempt from paying tuition fees at Pontificia Università Lateranense.

Who can apply
The call for applications for the mobility year 2025-2026 is open to students enrolled in the 2nd year of the Luiss Bachelor’s Degree in Scienze Politiche for the academic year 2024-2025.
Available slots
There are 7 available slots every academic year.
Application Criteria
These are the criteria that you need in order to apply.
- Weighted average grade equal to or above 27/30
- Students are required to have obtained at least 67 credits by the deadline indicated in the Call for Applications (usually by mid February)
Selection Criteria
These are the criteria used to rank your application.
Eligible candidates will be ranked based on the academic performance and the criteria included in the table below. The academic performance is assessed based on the data available to the Student Office by the deadline indicated in the Call for Applications (usually by mid-February).

Registered ECTS credits | 60% | The academic score will take under consideration all registered credits valid towards one's degree. Credits must be registered by 17 February 2025. Please note that additional courses (corsi liberi) will not be taken into consideration. Credits from early exams will be counted but only up to the maximum score for this criterion, which is 60% of the total score calculation. |
Weighted GPA | 40% | Starting from the minimum valid grade (18/30) |
