In 2021, an event was held in talk-show format to discuss the gender pay gap. The event featured two influential speakers: Laura Pennacchi, a government official who coordinated the Working Group on Women’s Employment and Wage Inequality, and Eleonora Mattia, Chair of the Lazio Region’s IX Commission, which approved the proposed regional law on promoting gender pay equality, supporting quality employment and entrepreneurship among women, and enhancing women’s skills.
