Providing female sanitary pads dispensers in restrooms – In line with Luiss Gender Equality Plan, in 2023 the University implemented a project in collaboration with This Unique to break down stereotypes related to menstruation, raise awareness on gender issues, and promote inclusivity. The project targets the entire Luiss community, including staff, faculty, and students.
#donneSTEM – Luiss has been developing and launching innovative training paths for several years, with a particular focus on cutting-edge technical-informatics subjects like Coding, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data. This is part of a broader effort to foster a more inclusive culture by developing skills open that are to diversity and innovation, including a focus on increasing female representation in STEM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. Luiss has successfully achieved this goal through the #donneSTEM Project, which has led to collaborations and agreements with major Italian corporate groups in the energy, services, and telecommunications sectors. Through this forward-looking initiative, Luiss has provided support and dedicated scholarships to talented girls interested in pursuing IT careers.

GROW – Generating Real Opportunities for Women –is a project launched in 2017 by Luiss Business School. The aim of the project is to support and promote the personal and professional development of female students at the Luiss Business School, with a focus on helping them enter the workforce and achieve top positions in companies, administrations, institutions, universities, and other organizations. The project plans and organizes activities based on the “GROW Fast” and “Data Girls” guidelines.

Data Girls – is a project created by Luiss Business School in 2017 to support young women who are interested in pursuing opportunities in data management and the digital world. The goal of the project is to increase the representation of women in the digital workforce, which is a rapidly growing field that still has a significant gap between supply and demand.
