Double Degree in Global Finance with Fordham Gabelli School of Business, New York City
Highlights
The Double Degree in Global Finance with the Fordham Gabelli School of Business is a challenging graduate program taught entirely in English, aimed at students currently enrolled in the Luiss Master’s Program in Economics and Finance, both first-year students and second-year students, with majors in Finance or in Banche e intermediari finanziari, and students enrolled in the first and second year of the Master's Program in Corporate Finance.
Students who complete the program will earn a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance or in Corporate Finance issued by Luiss University and a Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) issued by Fordham University.
This program, structured in a 7-week Summer Term in New York City (Summer Term 2025: from June 9 to July 25, 2025), provides an in-depth look at global financial markets and risk, financing and capital-raising strategies, with intensive and challenging teaching methods and corporate visits to major corporates and institutions, such as Bloomberg, Citigroup, Ernst & Young, New York Exchange Stock, Federal Reserve Bank, among others. Selected students will have the chance to learn how to implement corporate objectives by using financial strategies, also practicing in small group sessions with top executives of industries such as HSBC, Moody's and Goldman Sachs. The School is located in the heart of Manhattan, a few steps from Wall Street.
Students selected for this double degree will be registered at Luiss as well as at Fordham for the Summer Term 2025. The Fordham degree will be awarded after completing the Luiss program and defending the final thesis at Luiss.
The Double Degree in Global Finance with the Fordham Gabelli School of Business is a tuition-paying program. Fordham University will make financial aid available for the program and students are eligible to receive a scholarship grant from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. This scholarship is valid for every student selected for the program and it will automatically reduce Fordham fees. This means that for next summer 2025, students will have to pay $23,934.
Please note that tuition does not include living expenses. In addition to tuition and the health insurance fee, Fordham University also charges several student service fees, which for 2025 will be $369 and include: $96 General Fee; $227 Technology fee; $46 International Student Services Fee. Books, which should cost less than $200 per course, and travel expenses are not included. Living expenses in New York are not included in tuition and fees. The Fordham International Student Office requires students a budget of about $5,000 for living expenses for their stay in New York. Students are encouraged to look for accommodation in Fordham dorms to avoid housing issues and fraud. As for Fordham on-campus housing, the dormitory fee for the 7-week stay in 2025 corresponded to $1,874.
