The ENGAGE.EU Summer School is an intensive, two-week summer program taught by professors of leading European universities in business, economics, and the social sciences. The program aims to provide a forum for interdisciplinary academic exchange and learning, and support students to develop hard and soft skills for their studies and future careers. The theme of this year’s summer school is Digitalization and Challenges for European Society, offering students the opportunity to deep dive into the economic, social, political, and regulatory aspects of the digital transformation with a focus on Europe.
The highlights of this edition are:
Monday 18 July: Welcome reception and meeting at Campidoglio
Wednesday 20 July: The event, Rethinking Digital Transformation, featuring a lecture by Jannis Kallinikos, Cisco Chair in Digital Transformation and Data Driven Innovation at Luiss, and a roundtable discussion with Professor Polzer and Professor Raab (WU and Tilburg respectively), Gianmatteo Manghi, and Jeff Campbell from Cisco.
Friday 22 July: Italiacamp talk on “Impact evaluation and management: a new paradigm for a changing World”
Wednesday 27 July: Casa delle tecnologie emergenti
Friday 29 July: Graduation ceremony at 12:45 pm
